Young Adults

Dear Community,

Recently, we have been discussing ways we can better support the young adults in our community.

Yesterday, we announced that The Park will start hosting Millennial Nights: a free night of skating/biking for young adults, ages 17-22. This monthly event will take place on the last Friday of every month from 9pm to 11pm, beginning March 30, 2018.

In order to make this a success we will need each of you to fill in where you can:

  • Volunteers to staff the event each month at The Park
  • Home-cooked meals to serve
  • Event Sponsors to help with costs

What does it mean to volunteer?

We are looking for 8-10 people who can be on a rotating volunteer schedule. Each month we will need 2 volunteers who just come to hang out, serve up some good food and be an ear for anyone who needs it!

Sign up to be a host at one of the events (or all if you find you enjoy it!)

What kind of food is needed?

Anything yummy will do. Maybe a lasagna, a crockpot of your favorite soup or chili, homemade mac n cheese, cookies, cakes, pies – you name it!

Send us an email and we will get you signed up to be on our rotating list of food donors!

What type of sponsors are needed?

Each event will cost about $300 to host and includes supplies, promotion, and the really cool things we will be giving away.

To become a sponsor, please send an email and you’ll be connected to someone who will handle all the details!

Together, we are making a difference!

Sincerely,

Your friends at Midcoast Community Alliance
