Creating Awareness

Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for youth ages 10-24, nationwide*.

We can change this through education, healthy dialogue and increasing access to proper mental health care.

Increasing Help Seeking

In Sagadahoc County, 30% of High Schoolers indicated they felt sad or hopeless for two weeks or more. 21% indicated they had seriously considered suicide*.

Caring adults who are educated in Youth Mental Health First Aid make the difference in connecting a teen in crisis to proper help.
